PERMANENT OUTDOORLIGHTING.

It's not Christmas lights that stay up. It's architectural lighting that happens to do Christmas.

Most people meet this product as Christmas lights, and that undersells it badly. What it actually is: a permanent, addressable LED lighting system that traces your roofline, giving your house a lit form after dark eleven months of the year when nobody is thinking about holidays at all.

A house with its roofline lit reads as finished at night in a way porch lights never manage. The holiday scenes are a feature, not the purpose.

The everyday setting is the one you'll use most

Warm white along the roofline, dimmed. That's what most owners run three hundred nights a year, and it's the reason the system stops feeling seasonal within a month of installing it. Security lighting is a real secondary use — a consistently lit exterior is a genuine deterrent, and it costs almost nothing to run.

What addressable actually means

Each LED is individually controlled. That's the difference between this and a string of coloured bulbs: you get gradients, chases, fades, per-section colours, and patterns that move. Practically it means one hardware install covers every look you'll ever want, rather than a colour you committed to on install day.

Designed to the house, not across it

The runs follow eaves, gables, peaks and dormers. On a simple bungalow that's one clean line. On a two-storey with multiple gables it's a set of decisions about which planes to trace and which to leave dark, because lighting every edge of a complex roof produces noise rather than architecture. We plan that before anything gets mounted.

Installed into the roof assembly, by roofers

The track mounts into soffit and fascia. That's roof-edge assembly — the same components that keep water out and carry your eavestrough. It's the argument for having us do it rather than a lighting-only installer, and it's the single most common way these systems cause damage when someone else does.

QUESTIONS

STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Will it look tacky the rest of the year?

Only if you run it that way. In daylight the track is tucked into a channel and effectively invisible; at night most people run warm white at low brightness, which reads as architectural rather than festive. The bright colour scenes are there when you want them, not by default.

Does it add value to the house?

It's a permanent exterior improvement and it presents well, particularly in evening listing photos. We're not going to put a number on it — anyone who quotes you a resale figure for lighting is making it up.

Can I control it when I'm away?

Yes, that's standard — the controller is networked and the app works from anywhere. Scheduling means the house lights itself on a timer whether you're home or not, which is the security case.

How long does the hardware last?

LED life is rated in tens of thousands of hours, and the practical limiting factor is usually the controller and the connections rather than the diodes. Manufacturer warranty terms go on your written quote — ask any bidder for theirs in writing, because they vary a lot in this category.
