Permanent roofline lighting with us costs about $15 to $19 per linear foot for a smart LED system, and about $25 to $32 per linear foot for a permanent aluminum track system, before GST. On a 150-foot run, that's roughly $2,200 to $2,800 for the smart LED system or $3,700 to $4,800 for the track.

Two houses with the same roofline length can sit at opposite ends of it.
Roofline length is not obvious from the street, and satellite measurement doesn't show the fascia detail that decides how it mounts. A number given before someone has looked is a number that changes later, and a quote that changes after you accepted it isn't a quote.

Seasonal install and takedown is a cost that comes back every year, plus booking it, plus being on their schedule rather than yours. Permanent is once. The maths depends on what you pay now and how long you'll be in the house, and we won't pretend to a payback period we can't calculate for you.
Permanent roofline lighting is four parts: a slim channel mounted along the roof edge, a run of LEDs inside it that can each be set to their own colour, a low-voltage power supply, and a controller you run from an app. It stays up year-round, and the connectors, seals and electronics usually limit its life more than the LEDs do.
Permanent lights should fasten into sound fascia or solid soffit below the metal drip edge at the roof's edge, never through your shingles or roof deck, and stay clear of the soffit vents your attic breathes through. On a Calgary roof edge, where water drains and ice builds every winter, every fastener also has to be sealed.
There's no minimum footage in our pricing. The same per-foot range applies to a short run, so a small project is simply a smaller number.
No. We don't offer financing on roofing or on lighting, and we'd rather say that than point you at a lender we don't know.
It's our own pricing, but it's still a guide, not a quote. Your written quote uses your measured roofline and the system you pick, and it lands inside that system's per-foot range. GST is added on top, plus the $400 outlet line if your house needs one. Lighting takes a 30% deposit on signing, with the balance on completion.
Sometimes they're genuinely leaner. Often it's one of three things: the electrical connection isn't included or isn't permitted, the hardware is a lower grade, or there's a subscription that isn't mentioned until later. Ask all three before you decide the quotes are comparable.
