Big Boy Roofing is a roofing contractor based in Calgary, Alberta. This policy covers bigboyroofing.ca and the lead and quote tools on it. Questions about your data go to contact@bigboyroofing.ca or (825) 521-7002.

Information you give us — when you request an inspection, a quote, or refer someone, we collect your name, email, phone number, property address, and anything you type into the form.

Information collected automatically — like most websites, we log your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or ad that sent you. Some of this is stored in cookies (see below).

We use a small number of cookies:

• ▪bbr_attr (our own cookie) — remembers how you found us (which ad, search, or referral link) so we credit the right source if you book.
• ▪Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Analytics / Google Ads — third-party cookies that help us measure which ads work and improve the site.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time — the site still works without them.

• ▪Respond to your inspection or quote request and follow up about it.
• ▪Measure your roof from your address using Google's Solar API to build an estimate.
• ▪Send you your quote and related documents by email.
• ▪Run and measure our advertising.
• ▪Keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We use trusted service providers to run the business: Google and Meta (advertising and roof measurement), Supabase (our database), and Vercel (website hosting). They only handle your data to provide their service to us.

For ad measurement, we share a hashed (scrambled) version of your email and phone number with Meta and Google so they can match a booking back to an ad. They can't read the original values from the hash.

We do not sell your personal information.

If you refer someone — or arrive through a referral link — we use the contact details provided to credit the bonus or discount and to let you know by email or text when a referral books. You can reply STOP to any text to stop referral texts.

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will, unless we're required to keep it.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask us to:

• ▪Correct anything that's wrong.
• ▪Delete your information.
• ▪Withdraw your consent or opt out of marketing emails and texts.
