Every shingle option on paper at the table. Sign the contract, on PDF or on paper, and your copy stays with you.
We arrive with a proposal: the IKO shingles we priced for your roof, with material, sqft, colour and warranty. The price holds for 14 days from the date on the proposal.
We talk through the trade-offs. IKO Dynasty is the one we recommend for most homes, IKO Nordic is the Class 4 impact-rated option, and Cambridge is there for a reason. This is also where we'll ask whether you want roofline lighting priced on the same quote, since the track mounts to the fascia we're already working on.
Tick the shingle you want and sign. On a replacement the proposal is your contract and your deposit invoice, with the deposit printed on each option. PDF or paper, whichever you prefer, and a signed copy stays with you.
Filing a claim? We submit to your insurer in the format they need and meet your adjuster on the roof. You don't have to learn what a supplement is.
Deposit, install, magnetic sweep, final invoice. Days on-roof, not weeks.
On a replacement you're paying for yourself, a 30% deposit on the option you choose, on signing; an insurance job's payment terms are set out in its contract. The deposit holds your install date and releases the material order. Pay by e-transfer, cheque, cash, or card through a Stripe link. Card is 3% more than the other three.
Crew on-site early. Tear-off, deck inspection, ice & water shield, underlayment, shingles, ridge cap. Materials land a day or two before the crew, and most roofs take two to four days on site, weather permitting.
Magnetic sweep across driveway and lawn. Site looks better than we found it.
Final balance due on completion, by e-transfer, cheque, cash or card. Your warranty is stated on the final invoice: 5 years on our workmanship, plus IKO's material warranty on the shingles.
