Not every roof with a leak needs replacing, and this one didn't. The failures were all at the penetrations: sealant cracked away from the stack, vent boots long past their life, flashing that had been patched rather than replaced. That is the most common repair we do on older Calgary houses, and it is a repair, not a roof.
